Get set for the first Australian Poetry Slam heat for 2023, and the first ever heat held in our patch, when aspiring spoken word poets of all ages compete for the chance to head to the national finals - thanks to Word Travels! The event will also see guest performances from leading Australian poets, including proud Gunai woman, author and poet Kirli Saunders.
